There are two options in supporting a child. For $12 a month, or 40 cents a day, a child’s health and nutrition needs for a month could be met. For only 40 cents more per day, or $25 a month, a child could receive the food, health care, schooling, clothes, and the majority of what is needed to support them for an entire month.

Give

Much of this project consists of construction projects to equip the ministry with the resources it needs to do its work. The biggest need will be money to fund those projects. Simon Pierre, pastor of Gisenyi Church of the Nazarene, has drawn up a plan detailing everything that his ministry needs to carry out their mission. The total cost of the project is approximately $750,000. That may seem like a lot of money, but it is our hope that people coming together can provide. Also, you can be assured that your money is being well spent and where it is going to. There are options of sponsoring a classroom, an office, or other various parts of the project. You can be sure that your money is going to a specific area of this ministry.

The plan that Simon Pierre has outlined includes paying local Rwandans to do the labor. However, if we send teams over to do the construction, the total cost of the project will greatly decrease. Our desire is to send teams over at least once a year to minister to the people, be ministered to, and to work on these projects.

The desire of the ministry in Rwanda is to teach the orphans a trade in order to provide for their family. One such trade is card-making. These are cards hand-made by the orphans. These cards are great for holidays, birthdays, and thank-you notes. Also, your money used to purchase the cards will be sent back to help care for the orphans.
